BOARD LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM
United Way of Greater Topeka and Washburn University team up to offer training and guidance to aspiring volunteer leaders. The program offers two levels of leadership development and volunteer training to anyone interested in being an effective non-profit leader, or further developing their skills. A Free Bank of America Homeowner Event for Customers Facing Financial Hardship will be held at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Topeka, Feb. 27-29th from 8am till 8pm each day. The purpose of the event is to provide assistance to customers experiencing financial hardship to have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with home retention specialists to review their options for home loan modifications or other alternatives to foreclosure.
